Merry Christmas 2008 (Late)

This is a little late. Sorry. Better late than never. Merry Christmas 2008. This was Brinleys first christmas. She was so cute unwrapping her presents, we had to help her stay focused on unwrapping the presents or else she would get too caught up in playing with the paper and forget about her presents. This is an outfit that Grandma Wendy sent her all the way from phoenix. Thanks Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Jack!! Brinley got so many presents this year that I cannot even count. We only got her a pair of pj's. The rest came from grandparents.

This is the picture daddy got Brin for christmas. He said that the little girl reminded him of Brin when he saw the picture. We have the best daddy ever, so thoughtful. When he said that it brought tears to my eyes because I can only imagine Brinley in the arms of her Heavenly Father. We are so lucky that He entrusted us with his sweet daughter. This picture now hangs above Brinleys crib so He can watch over her when she sleeps. Thanks daddy!!

This is the picture that Zairrick got me. It is huge and absolutely beautiful. We promised this year that we would not get anything for each other so we could put our yard in this spring. Yea, you can see how well that went!!. What a wonderful christmas we had with our little family of three, hopefully next christmas we will have a bigger family. Who knows??

This is Brinley in the middle of the wrapping paper. She is not very happy. All the presents were opened and she was sad she did not get anymore.

Aunt Abby

The fAmouS BiRthDay SuiT

Brin loves to be naked and play with the diaper that is supposed to be on her bottom. This was just after bath time and I was trying to get her dressed and diapered for the day, but she rolled over and sat up, grabbed her diaper and started to rip it apart. She wanted nothing to do with getting dressed. I let her crawl around in her birthday suit for awhile.

She looks like she is up to something mischevious here!! I love this little girl, especially in her birthday suit, she did not even pee pee on the carpet, good girl!!

Uncle stetson and Brin. Brin loves her aunts and uncles and grandparents. I promise Brin is happy here even though she does not look like it.

We got Brin's ears pierced at the begining of March. I think it hurt mom more than it hurt her. They are cute little diamond flowers. She was such a big girl and took it like a champ. Now no one can call her a boy!!

Brin was having fun playing in a big box. I love how you buy them toys, but they always end up playing with the box or wrapping paper!!

Brin has a basket of toys in the living room. She frequently pulls herself up to the side of it and pulls all the toys out and then will put her binkie in the basket. She is crazy.

ShE IS Growing Up ToO FaST!!

So quick update since it has been too long. Brin is almost 10 months now. She weighed 17#5oz. at her last check up. She is also a shorty she is only 26in long and in the 9.5 percentile for height. She learned to crawl about 1 week ago. I started to get worried because all the other babies her age were crawling and she wasn't. She was just happy sitting on the floor and playing toys. NOw she is crawling like a mad woman. It is so fun to watch her grow and learn new things. I love to read to her because I can just see her little mind learning new things. Her hair has a glow of strawberry blonde when the sun hits it and she has green eyes. She is the perfect mix of both of us. We love her so much, she is the absolute joy of our life. She definently has a personality on her, she loves her aunties and uncles and both her grandparents. Thank goodness my family is close, I do not know what I would do without them. My mom absolutely loves Brin and Brin loves to go to grandma's house to play with the "Stop and GO!" school bus. I just bought her a new book called "The Hungry Catapiller", it is so cute, it is the books 40th anniversery so they made a pop up book out of it. So so so cute, expensive, but cute. We cannont wait until the girls reunion Brin is going to have so much fun playing with all her cousins and swimming, she already has 2 swimsuits to swim in. Can't wait. I will post pics next time.

aNy AdVicE??

So this year I have decided to try and grow a garden. I think it will be something fun for Brinley and I to do together, also it will keep us busy this summer (as if 2 jobs won't keep me busy enough) also it will get us outside. However, the one downfall is that we have no grass YET!! So brinley will have to play in the hard dirt. Anyway, I am thinking of growing tomatoes, peppers, onions, summer squash and maybe string beans. Everything I need to make homemade salsa. YUM!! Also maybe I can get Zairrick to eat veggies. He is a strict meat and potatoes guy. If anyone has any advice let me know. This pic is what my veggies will look like!!

But in my defense, I tried multiple times to post but the pictures took FOREVER to load.  For some reason today they loaded with the speed of lightening. MOM, I'M FULL!

Jarica and Brin-Brin came to visit Aunt Kaley at the end of October (I remember because they came the day HSM3 came out:) The entire time was spent in trying to capture a picture of Brinley smiling; however, she was having none of it. As soon as she would see the camera...FROWN. It turned out to be quite comical.

Sitting UP!!

Quick update: Brinley is now rolling from her front to her back, she has been doing this for atleast a month now. She is also sitting up, a little wobbly, but she is sitting, she hates to lay down now that she can sit and see the world. So funny story, brin was sleeping and I put her in her swing while I was getting ready for work. I started to her her fuss a little bit and I went out to check on her. Well she was no longer in the swing but directly under the swing on her belly looking up at me and smiling. I cound not believe it, she fell out and did not even cry. So I guess that means that she can no longer be on high places without being secured or watched closely. She is also starting to lighten up and smile for more people than just me and dad. She loves her Grandma Pookie and smiles everytime she see's her which is every day. Grandma Pookie is my hero, she watches brin for a couple hours the morning after I work so I can sleep. Brin is now eating baby food. It is so funny to watch her faces when she tastes something new. She hated the carrotts, peas, and squash. She did not mind the sweet potatoes and green beans. I try to make it so that I taste everything she eats. If it is not good enough for me than I won't feed it to her. She loves applesauce and pears mixed with her oatmeal cereal. Feeding times are very messy though. Half the time more goes on her hands and clothes than in her mouth. I swear she has ADD because when I put a spoon full up to her mouth she gets all excited and throws her head forward and the spoon goes halfway down her throat. She is such a character, but we love her to death. All I can say is that Brin is definently a daddies girl. She loves Zairrick, she will smile EVERYTIME she sees him. She will smile for me but only SOMETIMES. We cannont believe how fast she is growing and it makes me sad that she is not my little baby anymore. We are also very excited to watch her grow and learn new things.
Well kind of a sad story now. We lost our dog Hammer. Zairrick is devistated. We lost him last saturday. We usually leave the garage open a crack and just let him wander. He has always come home except for the 2 times he was picked up by the pound. But saturday night was our first big snowstorm and we think he got confused in the snow and could not find his way home. Since then we have had many snowstorms and it has been deathly cold. We are very sad and spend at least and hour or two driving around looking for him. We hope he is ok and will come home soon. If you want you can pray for him to come home. That would be nice. He was like a child to us. He was actually our first child and the only other male in the house to accompany Zairrick.
Zairrick has started wrestling season and his team is doing well and wrestling tought. However, me a brin do not get to see him very often because he is so busy. We probably won't see him until next summer when the season and freestyle is over. I know it is his job, but I just wish we were way rich so that neither of us had to work and we could just hang out together all the time. Oh, well he loves it and he is probably the best wrestling coach out there. He loves those kids and would do anything for them.
Nothing has really changed much with me. I just love being a mom and I walk around as a zombie half the time when I have to work. I love having my family close and I think they love Brin more than me. I would too.
Sorry I am not posting pics, that is supposed to be Kaley's job. I do not have the internet at my house yet so I cannot upload pics to my blog. Well that is it, talk to ya'll soon.

Jarica's First Actual Post

So hello everybody. Funny thing this is the first time I have actually posted anything on MY blog. Thanks to linny and kaley you guys have been updated on my life. I decided to put a little of my input in about how my life is going.

So since the last blog alot has happened with little Brin. She is now 5months old and is the sweetest thing in our lives. At first I thought marriage was the happiest time of my life, but no one knows true happiness until they have a child. You soon realize that they are a part of you and their survival depends on YOU. Wow did I come to that realization quick. I took 3 months off with Brinley to stay home. I probably have not gotten a FULL nights sleep since the day she was born. That is probably the worst part of the whole baby thing. But every time she smiles at me or gives me hugs and kisses it is ALL worth it. I have truly realized my potential as a mother, this is my calling in life and I LOVE it.

After the 3 months I returned working at EIRMC as a RN. I am soooooo glad that I graduated with my BSN before Brin was born. I work part-time, two nights a week. Going back to work has truly been a blessing in disguise!! The nights I work Zairrick watches Brinley. By him watching her their relationship has grown so much, she loves her daddy almost more than she loves mommy. She smiles and plays with daddy, she eats and sleeps with mommy. She loves to read books, be thrown into the air, and roll over with daddy!! She also takes after daddy with her gassiness, she will just roll on her side and let one rip just like daddy. She has mommies attitude and onriness (that is what daddy says anyway!) I don't think so.

Right before I returned back to work I had a little accident up in Montana. Me and Brin went up to visit while daddy was at wrestling camp. I thought I was a teenager again and climbed on the roof and jumped onto the trampoline, I landed on my bum, but instead of being bounced up I hit the concrete! OUCH!! I thought I was dead. My mom came out and was in a frantic panic because I was in so much pain I could not breathe or get off the tramp, my mom's first comment was "Jarica I cannot feed Brin!!" The next comment was "Let's get you off the tramp and get you into the bathtub." For some reason my mom thinks the bathtub makes everything better!! My dad ended up coming home and had to help me off the tramp. Yea, can I say that was the stupidest thing I have ever done!!!. To this day I am still in pain. I think this stupid mistake is going to follow me for the rest of my life.

Back to Brin... She is the best baby ever!! If you ask daddy he would say differently. She does not sleep through the night yet but that is my goal. She has been doing better since we started feeding her oatmeal cereal. She gobbles that stuff up like nobody's business!! She also wants to help and half of it ends up on her or her bumbo chair.

Brinley Nichole Wadsworth is the JOY of our lives and we love her sooooo much. We wish extended family was closer to watch her grow up. We are glad that Grandma and Grandpa Fisher now live closer so they can see her more. We cannot wait to have more (or atleast I can't) I have already started to discuss having more. Zairrick says after Brin sleeps through the night for atleast 3 months consecutively before we can have another. We will be patient and we are on the Lord's time. Hope you enjoyed my quick post!!

Baby Blessing

Brinley Nichole Wadsworth was blessed on Sunday, July 20, 2008 in Idaho Falls, Idaho by her father, Zairrick Wadsworth. Brinley was blessed with her cousin Braxton Wadsworth. Her daddy gave her a sweet, beautiful blessing to match the sweet little baby that she is.

Jarica's whole family was able to attend.  :)  

Brinley looked just like a princess getting dressed for her wedding.  Getting Brinley dressed in her "wedding dress" was a different story. Before the day of the blessing, Jarica thought she'd try it on Brinley to make sure it fit. In the process, she zipped Brinley's skin into the zipper. Brinley was not a happy little girl! Jarica was praying hard on the day of the blessing that Brinley would be good, which she was.  She didn't cry at all during the blessing. What a cutie!
